The Spirit of Giving Benefit, to be held on December 13th at Mercer County Community College, is a fun and exciting game of basketball focused on demonstrating holiday spirit and providing for financially challenged families. All attendees of the tournament will be asked to bring a gift that will be donated to an underprivileged youth.
The event will begin at 11:00 am with a brunch for the families, at which time the gifts will be distributed. Then, starting at 1:00, the benefit basketball game will commence, featuring the Three Doctors, community leaders, and celebrity participants!
The tournament will be hosted by a local celebrity or comedian (TBA), and the game will include numerous activities such as a live DJ, free food, cheerleaders and various contest giveaways. The Three Doctors, who have been nationally recognized for their inspirational story of perseverance, will give a motivational speech at halftime of the game.
We hope that this year’s Spirit of Giving Benefit is even more successful than those held in previous years. We are fortunate to have the use of Mercer County Community College’s newly remodeled gym, and we can’t wait to welcome you to this wonderful event on the 13th!
